After years in software development, project management, and strategic leadership, I kept watching the same problem play out: leaders setting great strategy, teams working hard - but the two never quite connecting. Progress was invisible, priorities drifted, and the gap between vision and execution grew quietly until it was expensive. HQAlign was built to close that gap - without the complexity of enterprise tools that small companies can't afford or don't need.
Same team, same product, new name.
If you found us before May 2026, you probably knew us as TaskVal at taskval.com, or as the company behind it, KanbanGenie Limited. We have brought everything together under one name: HQAlign Ltd, on hqalign.com.
Nothing else has changed. Same company, same team, same product, same features, same support, same prices, same accounts. Your data, your settings, your subscription, and your existing agreements with us all carry over exactly as they were - we are the same legal entity, simply trading under one consolidated name.
Why the change? "TaskVal" suggested we were a task tracker. "KanbanGenie" suggested kanban boards. Neither captured what the product actually does, which is keep an entire company aligned with where it's heading - from the CEO's vision down to the work each person picks up on Monday morning. "HQAlign" tells you that on day one. The product now matches the name, instead of having to be explained around.

If HQAlign stops working for you, you can leave. Your data is yours. No annual contracts, no hostage situations. We believe trust is earned by making it easy to stay - not impossible to leave.
Every feature passes a usability bar - if a new user can't figure it out quickly, it ships without the feature. Simplicity isn't a constraint, it's a commitment. We'd rather do less and do it well than bury you in options you'll never use.
